Different from the Amazon, where there is the soy moratorium, the green grains protocol and the forest code has higher demand for legal reserve, the Cerrado has different demands on conversation of their native vegetation, water and its biodiversity. The SCF was organized to tackle these challenges, and after 2 years of work, I see the group with maturity to deliver solutions for the soy farmers. The farmers are the center of our ambitions, and we have prepared a package of alternatives to show them that sustainable supply chains are better not only for the world, but for their productivity, therefore profit, as well.
