In the Matopiba region, where there is a greater concern of conversion of native vegetation to soy, we can clearly observe the importance of investing resources in digital traceability to map and monitor supply chains. The engagement work that has been developed by ADM in the region has helped us to assess deforestation risks and map opportunities where incentives could be offered to drive expansion in areas already open, avoiding the conversion of areas with native vegetation. Every year we see more producers joining best management practices programs, the first step toward sustainability certification programs. By sponsoring these programs, ADM can ensure that future generations reap the fruits of this \u201ctheory of change\u201d.
