Por que fazemos isso?<\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

O SCF est\u00e1 na vanguarda da mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de parcerias que identifiquem, invistam e ampliem solu\u00e7\u00f5es para o uso mais sustent\u00e1vel do solo no Brasil e em outros pa\u00edses<\/strong>. Juntas, essas solu\u00e7\u00f5es criam uma estrat\u00e9gia de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da paisagem que coloca produtores e comunidades locais no centro da tomada de decis\u00f5es sobre o futuro e sobre como o solo deve ser manejado, cultivado e conservado para beneficiar todos que vivem nele.<\/p>\n

Com novas legisla\u00e7\u00f5es nos pa\u00edses consumidores que estabelece par\u00e2metros para a importa\u00e7\u00e3o de commodities e sua conex\u00e3o com o desmatamento e com o aumento dos investimentos no uso sustent\u00e1vel do solo, as empresas-membro do SCF est\u00e3o em uma posi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00fanica para vincular recursos diretos de todas os atores envolvidos na cadeia produtiva do Cerrado. Os membros do SCF trabalhar\u00e3o de forma colaborativa com eles para fortalecer solu\u00e7\u00f5es no n\u00edvel da paisagem que abordem as causas do desmatamento, forne\u00e7am incentivos para a restaura\u00e7\u00e3o e reduzam as emiss\u00f5es de gases de efeito estufa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Iniciativa Farmer First Clusters<\/h3>\n

O SCF criou a iniciativa Farmer First Clusters<\/em><\/strong> para administrar e direcionar fundos de forma estrat\u00e9gica. A iniciativa envolve uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o inteligente de solu\u00e7\u00f5es para abordar o desmatamento relacionado ao cultivo de soja em quatro paisagens importantes do Cerrado. S\u00e3o elas: oeste de Mato Grosso, sul do Maranh\u00e3o, oeste da Bahia e Tocantins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A iniciativa Farmer First Clusters<\/em> envolve mapear e entender uma determinada paisagem, engajar stakeholders locais e identificar qual combina\u00e7\u00e3o de solu\u00e7\u00f5es ter\u00e1 impacto mais positivo na alavancagem de uma mudan\u00e7a para o uso mais sustent\u00e1vel do solo. A iniciativa envolve a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o e amplia\u00e7\u00e3o dessas solu\u00e7\u00f5es<\/strong>, bem como a medi\u00e7\u00e3o do impacto, o aprendizado e a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o do modelo de forma cont\u00ednua.<\/p>\n

As solu\u00e7\u00f5es incluem compensa\u00e7\u00e3o pelo excedente de reserva legal, financiamento verde, restaura\u00e7\u00e3o, expans\u00e3o em \u00e1reas de pastagem, integra\u00e7\u00e3o lavoura-pecu\u00e1ria-floresta e programas de extens\u00e3o agr\u00edcola para promover a conformidade (compliance) com o c\u00f3digo florestal e pr\u00e1ticas sustent\u00e1veis. At\u00e9 setembro de 2022, o SCF ter\u00e1 identificado a lista inicial de agricultores e produtores que receber\u00e3o assist\u00eancia e ter\u00e1 estabelecido parcerias com parceiros t\u00e9cnicos e de financiamento para ajudar a mobilizar e gerenciar os investimentos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
