Agrícola Alvorada, seeking to evolve in the consolidation of a supply chain characterized by the highest social and environmental standards, is always improving the analysis of our suppliers to sustainably acquire our main commodities. We were the first company to join Bunge’s Sustainable Partnership, a program that shares tools, methodologies, and knowledge to track and improve the social and environmental assessment of suppliers in the direct and indirect soy chain. The initiative provides access to systems and technologies, including satellite image data, that show what is happening on each property we do business with. Through the Sustainable Partnership and other geoprocessing platforms, we have strengthened and improved the management and monitoring of our soy supply network, allowing us, for the first time, to measure the total volume of grain free of deforestation and conversion that we originate in the municipalities defined as priorities for the Soft Commodities Forum. We are working to gradually increase our Deforestation and Conversion-free (DCF) volumes, currently tracking 94%, until we reach the goals shared with Bunge for fully deforestation-free chains by 2025.
